Mat Pilates is a whole body conditioning workout. Classes focus on improving strength, stability, mobility and flexibility while using breathing awareness. Pilates is a great way to lengthen, strengthen and tone the body from the inside out. Classes are suitable for all levels, with a special focus on technique to ensure a safe and effective workout. We will focus on providing a full body work out.

Lisa has had a lifelong involvement and passion for movement. She originally trained and worked as a professional dancer. She opened DJAZZEX Dance and Pilates in 1994 and ran the business for 23 years until 2017.
In 2005 she applied for and won a scholarship to become a Certificate IV Pilates Instructor with Pilates International. She completed her Diploma of Professional Pilates Practice in 2008 and her Advanced Diploma of Professional Pilates Practice in 2010. Lisa has completed specialist training in conditioning for dance as well as a mentorship program with Karen Clippenger MSPE, Professor at Long Beach University. Lisa is currently working towards completing a Bachelor of High Performance Sport at ACU.
Lisa is passionate about the benefits of movement for the body and spirit and is constantly striving to improve her knowledge about the human body and movement. She aims to blend her anatomical knowledge, love of classical ballet, and beautiful piano music to enable her clients to not only experience the benefits of ballet class but be uplifted and find inspiration through the grace and beauty of ballet and music. You will be warmly welcomed in her class, regardless of your level of ability.
Natalie Fraser
Natalie has 16+ years experience in the fitness industry as well as a lifetime in team and individual sports. A passionate personal trainer with a keen focus on Pilates and Yoga. Natalie has been running her own personal training business for 16+ years training clients either individually or in groups, in parks, gyms, online or in their home. She loves training clients and connecting with them to help them achieve their health and fitness goals, focusing on functional training with an emphasis on stability, balance and core strength.
