Join our bushwalking activity alongside the forgotten military relics and through the unique bushland of Bantry Bay. We’ll be slowed down to marvel at the beautiful wildflowers and gasp at the incredible views over Middle Harbour.
This walk is not for the faint hearted and using public transport is strongly recommended.
Bushwalkers must have a reasonable level of fitness, bring snacks and water as well as wear weather appropriate clothing and enclosed shoes.
Manly Dam - 22 June 24
Start Point: Nyrang Road Carpark - 10am
Finish Point: Nyrang Road Carpark - 1pm
Distance 9km
Walking grade: Moderate
Enjoy our bushwalking activity through heath scrub and wetland areas of Manly Warringah War Memorial State Park. We’ll walk past waterfalls and over Heartbreak Hill and enjoy the views over Manly Dam and have chance encounters with local wildlife.
Public transport is suggested. However, this walk is a loop and we’ll arrive back at our starting point.
