About the Tutor

With an extensive experience in working with culturally diverse school aged students and adults, I had taught English Language and Arts and Crafts subjects in schools in Hong Kong for 6 years before immigrating to Australia. I have become an ESL (English as Second Language) and craft project tutor in Wollongong since being awarded my Graduate Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Second Languages) degree in 2001. Arts and crafts training I have completed in Hong Kong including paper craft, leather craft and sketching. In order to further broaden my inspirations of designing craft projects, I have been exploring, practising and creating new crafting ideas, skills and techniques. Among my craft project students, they include YAA (Young Achievement Australia) Business Skills Program multi-awards winners whose company designed, produced and sold quilling cards. My passion is teaching. Sharing my knowledge and love of crafting with students is pleasurable. My craft projects are economical, creative and achievable suitable for all levels of crafters.
