David has taught a wide range of students both young and old, male and female, complete beginners to advanced students. David says that the beginners are often understandably quite nervous at their first class but astounded at times by their rapid progress during the course. This motivation is also inspired by having some of the regular students working around them.

David Pavich is a landscape artist and graduated from the National Art School in Sydney in 1985 and has had 20 Solo exhibitions in Australia and overseas to date.

He has lived and exhibited in Paris from 1988-93 and has been a finalist for numorous art prizes, such as the Blake Prize, The Paddington Art Prize, The Gallipoli Art Prize, The Gold Coast Art Prize, The ANL Maritime Art Prize and the Mosman Art Prize and was awarded a residency at the Arthur Boyd studio at Bundanon(2006), Murrays Cottage, Hill End(2004), Tweed Regional Gallery Murwillumbha(2015) and Gallery Lane Cove(2017).
