Christmas Fruitcake Marzipan Fondant Decorating Workshop
Course Outline
Get into the spirit of Christmas with this traditional Christmas cake decorating class.
In this course you will be shown how to transform a basic store bought fruit cake into a tempting work of Art.
You will be taken through the steps of covering your cake first in a layer of marzipan and then with the final layer of fondant.
Then you will be guided through modelling your Christmassy fondant decorations and finally dressing your cake with a festive ribbon.
Please note: We are not able to provide substitute ingredients for people with allergies.

This course is for beginners, and more experienced cooks who want to learn cake decorating skills.
About the Tutor
Amber Subaki
Amber Subaki is an artist, illustrator and cake decorator. With over 10 years of experience working in the disability sector, including 5 years teaching art, Amber has a nurturing and inclusive teaching style. She has a Diploma of Fine Arts from TAFE and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNSW. Amber's passion for cake decorating began 12 years ago when she became a mother. As an artist working in the fine detail of ink illustration, cake decorating was a natural transition to a fun hobby and side business.
