Coronavirus (COVID-19) - A notice to all staff and students

Updated Thursday 1 October 2020

Term 4

Term 4 will commence the week beginning Monday 19 October (note some courses begin the week of 12 October) with most courses again being offered face to face at one of our campuses. Some courses will also offer the option of virtual classroom attendance.

The Term 4 brochure and full course details are available on our website.

The NSW Government has provided funding for a range of fee free short courses to help improve work skills or retrain for a new career. These will be available to eligible individuals and/or small businesses – see ACE Funding and Tech Savvy for Small Business Funding for details.

On Campus study during COVID-19

Additional safety measures are being taken at College Campuses to help protect everyone on site. These include:

  • Additional cleaning measures
  • Reduced class sizes to allow for social distancing
  • Provision of hand sanitiser and wipes to encourage regular hand hygiene
  • Regular wiping of frequently used surfaces

Please help with these safety measures:

  • Do not attend College if you have any respiratory symptoms, however mild, or are feeling unwell, or are awaiting COVID-19 test results or have been in a COVID hotspot (as defined on the NSW Health website) within the past 14 days.
  • If you notify the College that you have been experiencing respiratory symptoms and will not be attending class, please provide us with a negative COVID test result before returning to classes.
  • Regularly clean your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
  • Practice cough etiquette (keep away from other people, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, and clean your hands.
  • Practice recommended social distancing.
  • We suggest that you bring a mask to wear when at the College.

We are now registered with the NSW Government as a COVID Safe business.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and follow advice from NSW Health to ensure we are continuing to respond appropriately to the current health situation.

Please be assured that the health, safety and well being of our staff and students is our highest priority.
