  • Canva for Presentation Videos Overview

    In this class we apply your existing Canva skills to presentations, multi-scene video posts and Canva’s website builder. Presentations are crucial part of business communication, whether you’re presenting inside your organisation or sharing proposals and webinars with clients. They are the perfect project to work on in class to refine design best practices and technical skills within Canva.

    Canva’s video builder has recently been updated. We’ll create a multi-scene Instagram video post to see how it works.

    The website builder in Canva is great for landing pages, single promotions or even link-in-bio pages. We’ll create a landing page and see how to share it.

    In this class we will:

    • Plan and build a slide presentation in Canva
    • Keep your slides visually consistent while allowing variation between pages
    • Use transitions and basic animations between slides where appropriate
    • Create a multi-scene video post that moves through several pages
    • Use Canva’s website builder to create a one-page landing page style site
    • Learn where Canva websites are useful and where a full website platform is a better choice

    Please Bring

    Bring a notebook. We will have some time in class for you to work on your own projects and ask me questions. Everything in this class can be done with Canva’s free subscription.

  • Entry Requirements

    • Must be familiar with using Canva at a basic level and confident computer user
    • Canva Pro not required
    • Bring your own device – tablet or laptop (no smartphones). If bringing an iPad as your device, please make sure to bring an Apple pencil or equivalent accessory for an Android Tablet to class with you.
