Need Some Help?

Our Virtual Classrooms are run on either Microsoft Teams or Zoom.  Both are very easy to use conferencing software that enable you to connect with multiple people at the same time. You will be able to see and hear your trainer and fellow classmates and discuss and ask questions all from your device, in the comfort of your home.

To participate in training via Virtual Classroom, please check you can meet the pre-requisites below:

  • A basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Teams or Zoom, see below for instructional video links.
  • Access to a laptop/computer, iPad/tablet, or smartphone; and
  • A webcam* so your trainer can see you; and
  • A microphone* so you can participate in discussions; and
  • A reliable internet connection.

*Laptop computers usually include a webcam and microphone built into the top of the screen frame. Smartphones and iPad/tablets also contain cameras and microphones.

Virtual Classroom Etiquette

To ensure that classes run smoothly where students are attending on campus as well as via Virtual Classroom, it is essential that an eqtiquette is followed. Please read the required Virtual Classroom etiquette outline here before attending your first class.

  • This video demonstrates how you can switch applications while using Zoom, use two screens or split your computer screen if you are attending one of our computer / software application courses.
