Intro to UX Design Overview

Discover the fundamentals of User Experience (UX) design and learn how to create intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences—without the need for expensive software. This beginner-friendly course introduces you to the core principles of UX, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, while exploring free tools available online to bring your ideas to life.
Through interactive exercises and guided projects, you’ll gain hands-on experience using accessible platforms like Figma (free version), Canva, and other open-source design tools to develop and refine your designs. By the end of the course, you will have created your first UX project and developed the confidence to continue your journey in this fast-growing field.
  • Understand the basics of UX principles and processes.
  • Learn how to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  • Explore free tools for designing and testing interfaces.
  • Gain practical skills to kickstart your UX design portfolio.

    Familiarity with computers, intermediate file management skills,  users welcome to bring their own devices.  

    This course is delivered once a week over a period of 2 weeks.
