Course Outline:

Tarot Cards and Oracle Cards are an informative and beneficial tool for people to gain spiritual insights, evaluate one’s life direction and are used daily as a tool for self-discovery.

In this course you will learn meanings for the 78 cards, and some tarot history.  Everyone will have the chance to be able to give tarot readings in class for each other.  Whether you decide to follow tarot as a craft or a passionate hobby, it will bring you a lifetime of pleasure and learning. When you understand the tarot cards on a theoretical basis, you will then start to read them on a more intuitive level.

This course is suitable for the complete beginner who has just acquired a tarot pack and wants to know how to use them, or for someone who has owned a set for a while  and now wants to add further knowledge to what they have previously learnt before.

If you have an eye for art and love blending visual ideas together and telling a good story, then this course will be a great start for you on your exciting new tarot journey. You will enjoy the discussions, the sharing of ideas and the laughter. These are some of the things which make each tarot class a unique one off experience.

Session 1:

The History of tarot-Learning the meanings of the 14 cards that make up the Wands suit -Understanding their elemental signs and their astrological components.-Class readings shared and tutors readings shared.

Session 2 - Session 4:

Learning the meanings of the 14 cards that make up the Wands suit.-Understanding there elemental signs and their astrological components.- Class readings shared and tutors readings shared.

Session 5:

PART ONE
Learning the meanings of the 22 cards that make up the Major Arcana suit.- Understanding their astrological components.- Class readings shared and tutors readings shared.

Session 6:

PART TWO.
Learning the meanings of the 22 cards that make up the Major Arcana suit.- Understanding their astrological components.- Class readings shared and tutors readings shared.

Session 7:

Discovering the dark and the light side meanings of the Royal Court cards.- See how the court cards deal individually with multiple life situations according to their astrological signs.- Class readings shared and tutors readings shared.

Session 8:

Some further insights into the 78 tarot cards. This will include a tarot cheat sheet that can be used for quick reference when reading. Sampling a variety of tarot spreads that can be used for different questions. A code of conduct for readers. Tips on how to clear the energy after doing a reading.

What to Bring:

• Radiant Rider Waite Tarot Cards or any other Tarot deck (Available at Big W, Kinokuynia Bookstore in Sydney, Dymocks Bookstore, Angus & Robertson, E-Bay, Amazon)
• A scarf to wrap your tarot cards in 
• A Tarot Journal
