Intro to MS Power BI-Self Service Business Intelligence

Course Outline

Are you under pressure to turn data into actionable insights? Power BI, Microsoft’s self-service business intelligence tool may be just the answer. Power BI is a platform that allows us to model, analyse and visualise data. The main tool for achieving this is Power BI Desktop which is a free tool that can be downloaded for Windows platforms.
Power BI Desktop allows us to connect to data from an almost unlimited range of sources including Excel, Databases, Cloud services and even Salesforce. It then provides a range of intuitive, user friendly tools for developing stunning interactive reports.

This course is suitable for people who have some experience at analysing data in a tool like Excel. Pivot Table experience is recommended but not required. Power BI Desktop is currently only available for Windows (not Mac).
