Christine Van Leeuwin armed with a Diploma in Teaching, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, embarked on a fascinating journey that led her from the classroom to the corporate world. For over 15 years, she thrived at Optus, wearing multiple hats – Customer Service Trainer, Consultant, and Instructional Designer. Her passion for learning and development fuelled her drive to create meaningful experiences for both employees and customers.

But life had more surprises in store. Christine stepped away from the corporate hustle to embrace a new role: raising more children. Seven years later, her passion to contribute never waned. Enter Northern Beaches Mosman College (NBMC) – a platform where she could channel her expertise toward a greater purpose. Since July 2023, Christine has been diligently training students pursuing Certificate IV in School Based Education Support, infusing practical scenarios into their learning. And twice a week, she steps into the field as a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO), bringing theory with real-world application.
