This ukulele course is designed to take students who previously have had little or no exposure to playing the instrument, and give them the ability and confidence to play simple tunes and the knowledge and skills to continue their learning path by themselves. The ukulele is one of the most versatile, least expensive and easiest to learn of the stringed instruments. Learn how to play simple tunes as you explore the history of the ukulele, musical genres common to the ukulele and various styles of playing. You do not need to be able to read music, but will in fact become familiar with printed chord charts as well as learning a variety of strums and styles of playing.
