  • Tech Savvy Seniors: Apps That Make Life Easier Overview

    Become more confident using your smartphone or tablet by learning all about apps.

    In this course you will learn:

    • What an app is and the different types of apps available.
    • How to search for and download apps.
    • How to use apps to access services and manage accounts.
    • How to manage app settings such as updates, permissions, and notifications.
    • How to organise and delete apps.

    Please Bring:

    • Smartphone or tablet and its charger
    • Pen and notepad

  • Entry Requirements

    The TSS program is for seniors aged 60 years and above or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander elders aged 50 years plus.

    It is a requirement of this course to provide evidence of eligibility to your trainer on arrival.  If you are unable to do this, you will not be allowed to participate in the class. Please bring to your session your:

    Photo identification plus evidence of date of birth (passport, driver’s licence)

  • Duration

    This course is delivered in one session.
