  • Tai Chi Overview

Taijiquan (taiji, t’ai chi) is a four-century old system with long-proven results for improving health in virtually all aspects of the body, mind, and spirit. Using a finely-honed selection of postures and movements of self-defence origin, tai chi helps the practitioner to regain and cultivate their natural health, improving circulation of blood, organ health, skeletal alignment, and bone strength, as well as mental calmness being a form of still and moving meditation par excellence.

In this four-week course we will study the basic Standing Meditation, Reeling Silk Exercises, and a short Chen Family Taiji form.

    About the Trainer

The teacher, Martin Grunseit, has over three decades of professional teaching experience, and has had many hundreds of hours of instruction with his teacher, Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang, the long-time head of Chen Family Taiji, the original style from which all the other major styles of taiji are derived.

  • Duration

This course is delivered once a week for 4 weeks.
