Spanish Travellers Stage 1

Planning a trip abroad for leisure or business, or simply want to discover a vibrant new language? This introductory Spanish course is designed specifically for individuals with very little or no prior knowledge of the language.

Built on a highly practical approach that focuses on everyday, real-world situations, this conversational Spanish class makes it fun and engaging to learn Spanish. Our interactive sessions blend language acquisition with cultural experiences, incorporating song, music, and even a bit of salsa! You will develop the fundamental linguistic skills and confidence needed to communicate simply but effectively while travelling.

Course Outcomes: What You Will Achieve

By the end of this introductory course, you will be able to:

• Converse in Daily Situations: Exchange information, handle basic requests, and navigate everyday travel scenarios with better fluency.
• Master Pronunciation: Speak with confidence through targeted group and pair pronunciation exercises focusing on proper vocabulary intonation.
• Build Sentences: Ask questions, use negatives, and apply basic grammatical concepts (including essential nouns, verbs, and adjectives).
• Read Simple Texts: Confidently identify, read, and understand straightforward Spanish words and phrases.
• Appreciate Hispanic Culture: Gain a richer understanding of the customs, traditions, and countries where Spanish is spoken.

Stationery: Please bring a standard notepad and pen to every class.
