Discover Qigong through gentle movement, meditation and focused breathing in a calm outdoor setting by the lake.
This Qigong course introduces practices designed to encourage relaxation, body awareness and a greater sense of balance. You will learn energy-gathering movements, meditations and simple techniques for working with your internal energy, traditionally known as “Qi”.
Qigong has formed part of traditional Chinese health and wellbeing practices for centuries. Its slow, controlled movements can be adapted to different levels of mobility and experience, making the class suitable for people looking for an accessible and mindful form of movement.

No previous Qigong or meditation experience is required.

Fiona has taught Qigong and meditation for 20 years and has studied energy practices and consciousness for more than two decades.
Her interest in Qigong developed through her own experience using the practice to support her recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She now shares practical movement, meditation and relaxation techniques intended to help participants manage stress, restore balance and support their general wellbeing.
Fiona is an experienced wellbeing facilitator and has delivered programs and residential retreats for corporate, carer and community groups. She is the co-founder of Wellbeing Retreats and the founder of Inspired Wellbeing.
This course is delivered once a week for 8 weeks.
You will learn energy gathering exercises, meditations and self-healing techniques to harmonise and powerfully build your internal energy or ‘Qi’ – benefiting all aspects of your life.
