Mentoring: Supporting People at Risk of Homelessness overview

This short course is designed for volunteers in mentoring roles who support people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Build practical skills in communication – focusing on active listening, empathy, and maintaining professional boundaries – as well as learn how to recognise and respond appropriately to the challenges people may face. Through this training, you will strengthen your ability to build trust, support goal setting, and create respectful, empowering relationships that promote stability, safety, and wellbeing.
