Nature Journaling

Experience a relaxed introduction to Nature Journaling in this 2-hour taster session, where you’ll try simple observation and sketching techniques. Please note that this session is a brief introduction and not the same as the full Nature Journaling course.

What to Bring:

Bring along any supplies you may have at home such as;

  • Graphite pencil
  • Coloured pencils
  • Watercolour and Brushes
  • Ruler
  • Eraser
  • Black Biro (ball-point pen)
  • Sketchbook or some loose paper

If students own any other art supplies (a sketchbook, graphite &/or coloured pencils, pens, watercolour paints etc) please bring them along.

General Sewing

Try your hand at sewing in this 2-hour taster session. You’ll learn basic sewing skills and get comfortable using simple tools and techniques. Please note that this is a short introductory experience and not the same as the full sewing course.

What to Bring:

You’re welcome to bring along a project you’d like help with, or a simple bag or pencil case pattern (ready to cut or pre-cut) to work on.

Alternatively, there’s no need to bring anything at all. You’ll be guided through the basics of using a sewing machine and introduced to some easy sewing projects.

Introduction to Mixed Media

Experience a playful introduction to mixed-media creativity in this 2-hour taster session, where you’ll sample simple techniques using collage, paint, ink, pastels, and found materials. Please note this session offers a brief glimpse of the full creative course and focuses on exploration rather than producing finished artwork.

What to Bring:

  • Visual journal or sketchbook
  • Charcoal
  • Lead pencil
  • A selection of small to medium-sized brushes
  • Screw-cap glass jar for water

Interior Design Essentials

Experience a hands-on introduction to interior design in this 2-hour taster session, where you’ll explore core concepts such as spatial planning, material selection, and coastal-inspired styling. Please note this session provides only a brief glimpse of the full 8-module Interior Design course and focuses on foundational exploration rather than client-ready deliverables.

What to Bring:

  • Phone, Laptop and Note Book to take notes.

Manage Your Build and Renovation

Get a feel for what it takes to confidently manage your own build or renovation in this 2-hour, hands-on taster session. You’ll explore the essentials—design thinking, budgeting basics, and navigating approvals.
