Foundations of Effective Mentoring overview

This course is designed for volunteers in mentoring roles who support women with lived experience of domestic and family violence. Build practical skills in communication – focusing on active listening, empathy, and maintaining professional boundaries, as well as learn how to recognise and respond appropriately to the challenges people may face. Through this training, you will strengthen your ability to build trust, support goal setting, and create respectful, empowering relationships that promote stability, safety and wellbeing.
