Exploring Opportunities for Your Future

Ready to explore opportunities for your future? This fun, friendly and practical course is a relaxed introduction to exploring where to find jobs, when you are ready, how to search for opportunities that match your interests and skills. You’ll have opportunities to try things out through hands-on activities, practical examples and easy to follow exercises, with plenty of support along the way.

No pressure, no complicated jargon, just a chance to build your confidence, discover what’s out there and explore opportunities for your future.

You must be:

a) an Australian citizen, permanent Australian resident, or a New Zealand citizen, or a humanitarian visa holder or a partner visa holder whose sponsor is a humanitarian visa holder, or is an eligible asylum seeker, and
b) be aged 15 years or older, and
c) live or work in NSW, and
d) no longer be at school or equivalent (except for registered home school students).

If you can answer Yes to the above and you have low level employment, language, literacy or digital skills that are holding you back from employment opportunities, then talk to us about NSA funded training.  (We’ll ask you to complete a short pre‑course activity to help us make sure the course is right for you.)

*Ensuring Access to Foundation Skills Training is a joint initiative between the Australian and New South Wales governments.

From 1 January 2015 it is a requirement of the Federal Government that all students undertaking nationally recognised training will need to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Please ensure when completing your enrolment information, that the details relating to your name are identical to those on the identification evidence (eg passport or driver’s licence) used when creating your USI, eg no abbreviations or nicknames should be used. Once created, it is important that you keep a record of your USI and access to your accredited training records in a safe place. You will need this information for any future enrolments into accredited training in Australia.
