Tech Savvy Seniors: Introduction to iPhones

Do you own an iPhone but have no idea how to operate it? These fantastic little bundles of technology can be very helpful with day to day life not just making a phone call or sending a text message. This course will teach you how to use your iPhone for basic functions such as calling and texting but it will also cover settings, camera and photos, apps, internet and more!

Course Outline

  • Get to know your iPhone
  • Making calls
  • Sending messages
  • Managing contacts
  • Calendar app
  • Connect to the internet
  • Manage iPhone settings

Please Bring

  • iPhone and its charger with the latest IOS software update installed
  • Notepad and Pen

(Note: This course is only available to those who can bring an iPhone to class.)

Tech Savvy Senior Funding Eligibility

Eligibility for a position includes:

  • Being an Australian citizen/permanent resident
  • Aged 60+

It will be a requirement of this course to provide evidence of eligibility to your trainer on the first session of class. If you are unable to do this, you will not be allowed to participate in the class. Please bring with you to the first session your:

  • Photo identification (passport, driver’s licence)
  • Medicare card
  • Pension Card or NSW Seniors Card

How to Enrol

You can enrol online and over the phone using a credit card or come to our North Narrabeen Campus at 1525 Pittwater Road, North Narrabeen and enrol in person. (Please park in the pink line marked car spaces allocated to the College in the Northern Car Park only.)
