  • The whole concept of this class was a wonderful opportunity for any interested person to gain an excellent understanding of Community Radio and the day to day organisation of the Station to provide quality productions and focus on the needs of their listeners.Andrew and Sharon shared their skills and knowledge in a friendly, professional and informative manner. The On Air staff that spoke to the class gave us valuable insights into their presentation skills and their individual programs. The final activity of the day was our interviews which were aired in a program by Andrew....many thanks for all of your work. It was a great ending to the course and gave a lot of encouragement for us to further develop our Radio skills. Overall it was a great experience. Many thanks to Radio Northern Beaches.. a true community station.

  • It was an enjoyable and informative day. Listening to some of the program presenters made it easy to understand what is involved and how much time it takes to present a regular radio show. Andrew and Sharon were fantastic hosts and clearly do a lot of work keeping the station alive. I'm looking forward to getting more involved with the station.
  • Lots of nice, passionate, knowledgeable people. Fellow students passionate as well!!! The venue (radio northern beaches) was appropriate, although not spacious. This was EASILY made up by the quality & volume of the catering and the organisation of the workshop; which was very smooth. Those who ran the day were attentive, pleasant and very interactive. Plenty of hands-on and practical help. Well done.
  • This was one of the best workshops I have participated in. Value for money, a wealth of experience shared, great facilitation, hospitality and variety of speakers. Can’t wait for the next part of the journey. Thank you Andrew, Sharon & team nbr! Ramsina Lee
