Course testimonials:

  • I enjoyed hearing from current presenters on how they go about making their shows, experiencing the practical side of being interviewed live on air, it was interesting hearing the other course students perspectives / ideas
  • Lots of nice, passionate, knowledgeable people. Fellow students passionate as well!!! The venue (radio northern beaches) was appropriate, although not spacious. This was EASILY made up by the quality & volume of the catering and the organisation of the workshop; which was very smooth. Those who ran the day were attentive, pleasant and very interactive. Plenty of hands-on and practical help. Well done.
  • I was really amazed at just what a great Radio Northern Beaches, I had no idea it was so extensive. I would very much like to continue with the next phase. The instructors were really lovely and explained everything very well. It was a broad learning for me and I am really pleased I attended.
  • Great learning experience

  • A great day spent getting an overview of what is involved in putting together a radio show for community radio, and much more. Gave me lots to think about!
  • Great workshop, inspiring presenters and a great supportive community. The day presented great insight into community radio and the role it plays in the community. It was so much fun going live and great to meet so many inspiring individuals with diverse interests.
  • It was an enjoyable and informative day. Listening to some of the program presenters made it easy to understand what is involved and how much time it takes to present a regular radio show. Andrew and Sharon were fantastic hosts and clearly do a lot of work keeping the station alive. I'm looking forward to getting more involved with the station.
  • Such an interesting and fun workshop - and a great way to support our local community radio!
