Word 2016 Advanced
Course Outline
This is quite a specialised training course for proficient Word users who need to use sophisticated referencing, build electronic forms and use advanced features like Track Changes. The course will cover the following topics:
- Quick Parts and Fields
- Master Documents
- Table of Contents
- Bookmarks
- Indexing
- Track Changes
- Document Protection
- Electronic Forms
- Word Macros
Prerequisites
Attendees need to be confident creating and formatting Word documents (we recommend that they complete the Word Intermediate course before attending the Advanced).
Please Bring
- USB stick to class. Around 4gb storage is sufficient.
- Notepad and pen
On Campus study during COVID-19
Additional safety measures are being taken at College Campuses to help protect everyone on site. These include:
- Additional cleaning measures
- Reduced class sizes to allow for social distancing
- Provision of hand sanitiser and wipes to encourage regular hand hygiene
- Regular wiping of frequently used surfaces
Please help with these safety measures:
- Do not attend College if you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms, however mild, or are feeling unwell.
- Regularly clean your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
- Practice cough etiquette (keep away from other people, cover coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, and clean your hands.
- Practice recommended social distancing.
