Pilates Zoom

Course Outline

Mat Pilates is a whole body conditioning workout. Classes focus on improving strength, stability, mobility and flexibility. A great way to lengthen, strengthen and tone the body from the inside out. Classes are suitable for all levels, with a special focus on technique to ensure a safe and effective workout. Small props are often used to assist, challenge and add variety. Classes are designed to constantly evolve, so no two are ever the same. Please bring a mat and towel.

About the Tutor

Anna McLeod
Coming from a Personal Training and Group Exercise background, Anna McLeod fell in love with Pilates when she began practising about 9 years ago, she then went on to gain her Certificate IV in Pilates. Since gaining her qualifications, Anna has been teaching to a variety of class types around the Northern Beaches. From one on one, to small and large groups, with participants ranging in age, from teenagers to seniors. Her aim is to provide a well structured, safe, effective and enjoyable class, suitable for all levels.

Virtual Classroom

Zoom is easy to use video conferencing software with a simple set up. You will be able to see your trainer and classmates and interact as though you were in the same room, all from the comfort of your own home!

This is what you need to join the Zoom class:

  • Understanding the basics of using Zoom – see our free Zoom tutorial by clicking here.
  • Access to a computer, iPad/tablet or smartphone; and
  • A webcam* so that you can be seen by the trainer; and
  • A microphone* so that you can participate in the class and be heard by the trainer; and
  • A good Internet connection.

*If you have a laptop computer a webcam and microphone is usually built into the top of the screen frame. Smartphones and iPad/tablets also contain cameras and microphones.
