Fun with Watercolour

Perfect for beginners, this is a relaxed watercolour class where exploring colour and creativity are the main objective. Learning how to mix and layer colours, create detailed effects and enjoying the beautiful and fluid medium of watercolour are what this class is about!
Absolutely no experience is necessary; Lisa will guide you from sketching your artwork, right through to a beautiful finished watercolour piece you’ll be proud to show off.

Please bring

• A3 300gsm watercolour pad (rough or medium)
• HB pencil
• White eraser
• Set of tube watercolours (any brand is fine, minimum 12 colours)
• Soft, round brushes (minimum 3 brushes, sizes 2, 4, 8 for example)
• Watercolour palette with sections (white plastic)
• One toilet roll
• One container for water
Please note: It is not essential to buy expensive art supplies for this class. Feel free to purchase your supplies anywhere you can find them.

About the Tutor

Lisa Glynn was born and raised on the Northern Beaches and studied Graphic Design in the early 90’s. She went on to work as an artist for The Manly Daily and spent 20 years working in publishing.
Lisa now works as a full time watercolour artist and is well known on the Northern Beaches for her vibrant, colourful artworks depicting Australian flora and fauna, tropical flowers and plants and ocean and beach scenes. She sells her work internationally and has customers from all over the world including the USA, Canada and Europe.
