Character Challenge: Diversity Masterclass

An inclusive world celebrates diversity in all its forms. You can help accelerate social change through your stories! In this class we will discuss how to expand ‘the default character’ into characters who non-offensively differ in gender, class, ability, sexual orientation, religion, racial heritage, and other aspects of identity. Challenge tropes, cultural markers, intersectionality, and stereotypes. Benefit from group and individual exercises that will show you how to write inclusive worlds. All levels and ages welcome!
