Course Outline
The benefits of meditation are becoming more widely researched and accepted.
Stress throws us out of balance because it alters our body systems away from their normal operating conditions or ‘homeostasis’. Meditation works to restore ‘right inward measure where everything is balanced and physiologically homeostatic’.
Meditation is more than stress relief, and preventive medicine. It can help when injury or illness is already in the picture. Meditation reminds the body of how it is supposed to be by clearing out the distractions and stressors lingering in your busy mind. It can help the body get back on track and reclaim its healing power.
In this course we will practice different approaches to meditation and learn how to apply them in your daily practice. Experience the benefits for yourself.
Some of these include, an increased sense of confidence, awareness and general health, a calmer state of mind and the reserves of strength to deal with whatever you are presented with in your day and in your life.
